Department of Energy Clean Cities Program - The mission of the Clean Cities Program is to advance the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting practices that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption. A network of more than 80 volunteer coalitions, which develop public/private partnerships to promote alternative fuels and vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction work together.

US DOE Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Technology - The mission of the Hydrogen, Fuel Cells & Infrastructure Technologies Program is to research, develop, and validate fuel cells and hydrogen production, delivery, and storage technologies for transportation and stationary applications. The objectives of the program are toreduce dependence on foreign oil,carbon emission.
